Police were tipped off to a juvenile in Reston selling drugs and owning illegal guns in February, they said.

On March 8, authorities executed three search warrants, one at the juvenile's home and the other two at homes owned by a 27-year-old man named Timothy Dailey, also of Reston.

Detectives first searched the child's home on the 1500 block of Cypress Point Circle, where they found a 9mm rifle, a handgun, ammunition, suspected Schedule I/II narcotics, and suspected psilocybin mushrooms, police said.

A search of Dailey's home on the 11201 block of Reston Station Boulevard turned up 36 pounds of Marijuana, 880+ suspected THC vape cartridges, 160+ suspected THC edibles, 690+ suspected Adderall pills, and more evidence of drug distribution, police said.

Detectives conducted a third search warrant in the 1500 block of Scandia Circle at another one of Dailey's homes, they said.

There they found 1000+ suspected THC vape cartridges, suspected THC oil, Marijuana seeds, and more evidence of drug distribution.

Dailey was charged with one count of Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule I/II Narcotics and four counts of Possession with the Intent to Distribute Marijuana. He is being held on no bond.

It wasn't immediately clear if the child was charged.
